Our Philosophy

At River Oak, our goal is to create a space where young children can fully be themselves. Where they can run, climb, shout, and be wildly silly. Where they lead their own learning by showing us what they are interested in through their play and their observations of the world. Our curriculum is rooted in the children’s interests as well as the seasonality and natural phenomenon of our outdoor spaces. Our values of compassion, environmental stewardship, cultural awareness, curiosity, and joy inform all that we do.
